Online project co-ordination

The project to develop and produce “Michael’s Resignation” is incredibly large and time-consuming, as well as being of worldwide scope. Anyone is welcome to get involved and bring their time, skills and experience to it. To manage all the different elements of the movie, teams are co-ordinated through centralised web software. This page explains how we do things, and how you can get working on the project right now from behind your computer screen no matter where you are in the world.

Adjustments to the core script are all administrated through the original PlotBot.com project page, but must be signed off by Alex Cameron, Joby Stephens and Clare Beaumont to be incorporated into the movie.

Distribution, sales and marketing leads are processed through a private installation of the massively powerful and free SugarCRM business engine software:

POP3/IMAP email accounts in the format of firstname [dot] lastname [at] michaelsresignation [dot] com are available but you need to put in a request to have one set up for you. They can be added into Outlook, Blackberry, Thunderbird, iPhone and more very easily.

We use the free Google Checkout to collect and manage investments from the public:

All diaries and events are synchronised through a central Google Calendar, which can be integrated with Microsoft Outlook or linked to your own GCal. To add it as an iCal feed (e.g. into iCal, Thunderbird, Sunbird etc), use this link:
