Success in media, like in most businesses, is all about who you know. We have a huge team with extensive skills and expertise, and an enviable network of media people we can call on who have agreed to help us where they can. But our network can never be big enough.
NB: We have a library of 10,000+ worldwide contacts in the creative industry available in our online “office” media database. You can help us right now by getting into it and establishing new relationships with those people so they feel encouraged to support us.
Read this if you’re based outside of the UK: You don’t need to be based in the UK to help on “Michael’s Resignation”. The Internet makes it possible for us to work together regardless of where you are, even if you can’t do the physical work like camera operation or coffee runs. All our systems are set up to work online so we can collaborate without needing to be in the same room. As long as you have a computer and broadband connection you can get involved. We need help in many different ways, so don’t write anything off. Geography is irrelevant – if you have a dream, come and get it regardless.
One of the simplest things you can do is to just to introduce us to people you know – people with skills and experience that can help us physically do the production, and of most importance, people who can connect us into the right places to make the film a success when it launches. Our biggest weakness is in distribution, so we need to reach as many people in as many countries as we can in that industry to make sure we can make our production costs back and deliver a good return to the people who have believed in us and bought shares.
We want to know amazing people with extraordinary talent, of all backgrounds and nationalities. Everyone is welcome to contribute. People that:
- Can refresh us with a new perspective;
- Are untarred by industry malaise;
- May be inexperienced newbies with unique vision;
- Are old hands that have done it all before and dynamic, and generally:
- Driven and energetic types who can catalyse any part of what we’re doing.
These are just a small selection of the types of sectors we need introductions to:
Distribution
There would be nothing better for us than a theatrical release and its an ambitious goal for a project with such modest resources. It would be a dream come true for the screenwriters, production staff and cast. If you can make that happen, please get in touch. We need to put the movie out on DVD and achieve a certain target number of deals with broadcasters, TV platforms and sales outlets to make our money back.
If you work in distribution, drop us a line as you won’t believe how cool we are in terms of deal terms, and we’ll work with you in any way you want to produce a customised feature that is just right for your company and/or platform that sets it apart from the rest. With all the rights available in one package we can go cross-platform and makes things happen more quickly than you can imagine, without any of the politics you are used to.
Production
We’ve got some superb personnel with incredible vision and enthusiasm on our team but there will never be enough, as there is always enough room for more. If you know anyone who could help us to make the production more professional or add something magical, make sure you patch us in so we can work together.
Marketing
We’re not going far without marketing, and we have a very unique plan to make “Michael’s Resignation” headline news. Maybe you love the concept of the film and it’s drama and can see a way to make it hit home and increase the reach of your brand somehow. Maybe you just want to lend your expertise because you have some great ideas. Introduce us to creative people.
TV & Radio
We need to publicise the film via the mass media in any way we can, but we also want it screened there afterwards too. We can adapt it for both and add elements/angles to it that can fit each company we work with. If you want additional interactive elements, to re-mix/mashup scenes, to take apart various pieces, to feature it in a special segment, need interviews or just want to make a big deal out of it, we’re totally there. If you work in TV or radio, or think we would benefit from knowing your friend who does, drop us an email.
All of our team can be found on the main business networking websites like LinkedIn, Ecademy, Plaxo, Viadeo, ASmallWorld and more. Just send us an email and we’ll get a connection request over to you so we can start talking.
